How To Change Camera Settings and Functions

Setting a Camera's Delay

1. From the Main Menu highlight the camera you would like to Change the Delay for.

2. Press and Hold the touchpad on the Apple TV Remote until the camera menu is visible.

3. Select Basic Settings.

4. Select Camera Delay(in seconds but no less than 3 seconds).

5. Enter the number of seconds for the delay and select Done.

6. Select Close to finalize changes.

Setting the Jump Back Distance for the camera

1. From the Main Menu highlight the camera you would like to set the Jump Back Distance for.

2. Press and Hold the touchpad on the Apple TV Remote until the camera menu is visible.

3. Select Basic Settings.

4. Select Jump Back Distance (in Seconds).

5. Enter the number of seconds for the Jump Back Distance and select Done.

6. Select Close to finalize changes.

Changing a Camera's Name

From the Main Menu highlight the camera you would like to Change the Name for
Press and Hold the touchpad on the Apple TV Remote until the camera menu is visible
Select Basic Settings
Select Camera Name
Enter the name and select Done
Select Close to finalize changes

Changing the Camera's IP Address

From the Main Menu highlight the camera you would like to change the IP Address for
Press and Hold the touchpad on the Apple TV Remote until the camera menu is visible
Select Advanced Settings
Select IP Address
Enter the new IP Address and select Done (ex: 10.10.10.60 or w/port 10.10.10.60:554)
Select Close to finalize changes

Setting the Path for a Camera

From the Main Menu highlight the camera you would like to Set the Path for
Press and Hold the touchpad on the Apple TV Remote until the camera menu is visible
Select Advanced Settings
Select Path
Enter the path for the camera and select Done (ex: /media/s0)
Select Close to finalize changes

Changing the Stream Type of a Camera

From the Main Menu highlight the camera you would like to Change the Stream Type for
Press and Hold the touchpad on the Apple TV Remote until the camera menu is visible
Select Advanced Settings
Select Stream Type
Select either RTSP, RTMP, or HTTP
Select Close to finalize changes

Setting the Username and Password for a Camera

From the Main Menu highlight the camera you would like to set a Username and Password for
Press and Hold the touchpad on the Apple TV Remote until the camera menu is visible
Select Advanced Settings
Select Username or Password
Enter the Username or Password and select Done
Select Close to finalize changes
